EVELYN LIM is the Organist/ Lecturer at Methodist School of Music, Singapore; an adjunct Lecturer in Music History and Organ at Singapore Bible College; and an Organ Instructor at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She is also Pipe Organ Master of the Esplanade Klais organ. Evelyn is a co-founder of the Celebration Chorus. An active promoter for the platform of organ music in Singapore, she is the founding Dean of the Singapore Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (inaugurated in Feb 2004), the Guild's first Chapter in South East Asia. In addition to full-time teaching, Evelyn performs regularly with orchestras and ensembles such as the SSO; she has also been featured as soloist both locally and internationally.

She earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (USA), the Bachelor of Music performance degree (summa cum laude) in piano and organ and the Master of Music degree in organ at the University of Houston, Texas. She is a member of Wesley Methodist Church.
